To Begin - Setting Up Your Account
- Go to the website, www.vfisu.com and click on the “Login/Register” button and complete the required information to register a new account.
- Email - Use your sbes365.org email address
- Are you a VFIS Client? Click this box
- Set your password - Minimum of 12 digits, 1 special character, 1 number, and 1 lowercase character required.
- Wait for an email from [email protected] and open it up and follow the directions to validate the account and set a new password. Note: This validation email is only valid for 5 minutes! Check your spam folder if you do not see it.
- Go back to the website, www.vfisu.com and click on “Login/Register” again and then enter your username (your email address) and password to log in.
- Click on the “Affiliation Request” button (left sidebar of the page under “Start”) and then select “Request Affiliation” Select SOUTH BRANCH EMERGENCY SERVICES and then submit.
To update existing account
- Log into www.VFISU.org
- Click on YOUR PROFILE - PROFILE
- Click on USER DETAILS in the center, which will open a drop-down box
- Click on EDIT PROFILE - Update all appropriate fields
- Make sure to scroll down and under OPTIONAL > ID Number
- NJ EMT's, enter your 6 digit EMT number for CEUs here
- NREMTs, enter your National Register ID number here
- Make sure under OTHER FIELDS, New Jersey is selected
- Make sure to scroll down and under OPTIONAL > ID Number
- Click UPDATE PROFILE
- Go back to your home page by clicking the VFISU logo upper left, or log out and log abck into the website, www.vfisu.com and click on “Login/Register” again and then enter your username (your email address) and password to log in.
- Click on the “Affiliation Request” button (left sidebar of the page under “Start”) and then select “Request Affiliation” Select SOUTH BRANCH EMERGENCY SERVICES and then submit.
- Note, if you belong to other agencies that utilize VFISU, you may also request from them.
To Take a Class
- Log into www.vfisu.com
- Select the "My Courses" button on the Student Dashboard
- Complete the course, receive and download your certificate
- Log into iOps360, select Education, select Request Reciprocity, upload your certificate, select from the list of classes the class you just completed
