Looking for a meaningful way to make a difference in our community?
Join South Branch Emergency Services and be part of a team that saves lives!
No experience is necessary - if you have the will to help, we will show you the way. Training is free for volunteers.
South Branch formed in July 2020 with the merger of Clinton First Aid & Rescue Squad and High Bridge Emergency Squad - two organizations with long histories of providing essential medical and emergency services to the community. Joining us now gives you a unique opportunity to learn from and serve with volunteers who have an extraordinary amount of experience, yet make your mark and help shape traditions with a new organization.
There are many ways to serve, and volunteers are needed in all categories:
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) provide immediate care to the ill and inured and transport the patient to the hospital.
Rescue Associates rescue people from life-threatening or hazardous circumstances, such as being trapped in a vehicle after an accident.
Water Rescue Associates use specialized skills to rescue people during water-related emergencies, such as boating accidents or floods.
Cadets are our youngest volunteers, ages 16 & 17. Cadets receive much of the same training and serve in many of the same ways as our other volunteers. They can quickly become full-duty members at age 18.
Support Members are people over the age of 18 who have a desire to serve in a non-emergency way. Opportunities include community education, fundraising, and events.
Ready to be part of a lifesaving team while building friendships that last a lifetime? Volunteer with South Branch today!
