The SBES EMS Training Center is proud to partner with the Hunterdon County Emergency Services Training Center to begin offering an initial NJ EMT Training Program, which started in early 2015.

CLASSES OPEN

Partial Hybrid - Condensed Course

February 25,2026 to May 19,2026.  Students must attend all dates.  Full schedule attached to application package*

Orientation - February 25,2026,  6:30pm - 10:00pm

Class Schedule:
Tuesday & Wednesday  6:30pm - 10pm
Saturday& Sunday 2 sessions, 8:30am - 12pm and 1pm - 4:30pm
per attached course schedule.  Must attend all sessions​​

Minimum Requirements

• CPR Healthcare Provider Level prior to first day of class (One of the following)
  • AHA BLS
  • ARC Professional Rescuer or Lifeguarding / First Aid / CPR AED
  • ASHI Professional Rescuer
  • AAOS/ACEP Healthcare Provider
  • NSC Basic Life Support Healthcare & Professional Rescuers
  • Military Training Network Professional Rescuer
  • EMS Safety BLS for Healthcare Providers Professional
• Proof of Inoculations: 
  • ​COVID-19 (Optional, Recommended)
  • HEP-B
  • Current Year Flu
  • Others as may be required by your department or Internship Medical Center

Pricing

​Hunterdon County EMS Agency Member: 

• $2,500.00 (Includes $425 book fee) - Must be paid by Agency Check, included with the application package

Unaffiliated / Out of County

• ​$2,650.00 (includes $425 book fee) due with the application package​

Note: SBES Training Center does not accept the NJ EMT Training Fund Vouchers

REFUND/REIMBURSMENT POLICY

SBES EMS Training Center Refund Policy:

1. Course Cancellation by the Training Center: a. If the Training Center cancels a course, a 100% refund will be issued.
2. Student Withdrawal Tuition Refund Schedule: Refund eligibility is based on the date the Training Center receives the student’s written withdrawal request,

• Timing of Written Request Refund Amount 15 or more business days before the first class 95% refund (5% transaction fee retained) 10–14 business days before the first class 45% refund (50% refund minus 5% transaction fee)
• 9 or fewer business days before class begins No refund

3. Written Refund Request Requirement: Students must submit a written refund request (email or letter is acceptable) 

Textbooks

• Some courses, including the EMT program, require a textbook and/or online access codes.     All text books are Non-Refundable once distributed, all sales are final.

General Terms and Conditions:

• All courses may be subject to minimum course students.  Should a course be cancelled, student will be given as much advanced notice as possible.  
• Any student enrolling and not attending a course will be charged the full, non-discounted course fee, for no-shows.  Except for Initial EMT Course, cancellations will be accepted up to 72 hours prior.  Fees for text books and pre-study materials will not be refunded once sent to students.  
• All students attending SBESTC Courses agree that they have received permission of their department/company prior to enrollment, are covered by workmans compensation insurance through their department/company, and agree to allow their likeness used in any print or electronic media by SBESTC and SBES.
