RESCUE VEHICLES
Heavy Rescue 365
2018 Pierce Velocity® tandem axle Heavy Duty Rescue delivered May 8, 2018. The rig is built on an 8420 Velocity® Chassis with a 26-foot-long, 11 foot 1 inch high, walk-in heavy-duty rescue body, it is powered by a Cummins ISX15 600 horsepower diesel engine connected to an Allison 4000EVS automatic transmission. Some of the safety features the rig is equipped with are a TAK-4® Independent Front Suspension system, side roll protection system airbags, frontal airbags, and an electronic stability control system.
High Water 365
High Water 365 is a 1996 Stewart & Stevenson M1078 4X4 2.5 Ton Military Cargo Truck. This unit was purchased as a primary response vehicle to Swift Water Rescues and Flooding Incidents. This unit has been retrofitted with a custom rear platform used to conduct rescues in the water, while having a safer place to work. High Water 365 is housed at our Clinton Headquarters.
Marine 365
Marine 365 is a 2002 17' Boston Whaler V-Hull Police Spec. This unit is equipped with a 115hp Mercury 4-Stroke Outboard Saltwater Engine, GPS, Depth Gauge, Radar, Communications Equipment, and Life Safety Equipment. Marine 365-1 is housed at our Clinton Headquarters and is our primary response boat.
Marine 365-2
Marine 365-2 is a 2004 17' Ribcraft Semi-Rigid V-Hull Inflatable Boat. This unit is equipped with a 115hp Honda 4-Stroke Outboard Engine, GPS, Depth Gauge, Communications Equipment, and Life Safety Equipment. Marine 365-2 is housed at our High Bridge station and is our secondary response boat.
Marine 365-3
Marine 365-2 is a 2009 14' Ribcraft Semi-Rigid Flat Bottom Inflatable Boat. This unit is equipped with a 35hp Honda Outboard Motor w. Jet Drive and Life Safety Equipment. Marine 365-3 is housed at our Clinton Headquarters and is our primary response boat for the South Branch of the Raritan River and Swift Water / Flooding Incidents.
Rescue 365
1997 E-One Rescue purchased by CFARS in November 2018 from the Genoa-Kingston Fire Protection District (IL) as an additional Rescue unit for scene responses. This unit is based in our Clinton Headquarters and is a second due Rescue unit.
Water Rescue 365
Water Rescue 365 was originally a 2006 Ford F-450 PL Custom Medallion Series Ambulance, repurposed as a Water Rescue unit upon retiring as an ambulance. This unit contains Water Rescue equipment including Dry Suits, Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs), Throw Rope Bags, and Ice Rescue equipment in the colder months. This unit is housed at our Clinton Headquarters and is the primary tow vehicle for Marine 365-1
Water Rescue 365-2
WR 365-2 is a 2009 Ford F-350 Super Duty / PL Custom Conversion. This unit contains Water Rescue equipment including Dry Suits, Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs), Throw Rope Bags, and Ice Rescue equipment in the colder months. This unit is housed at our High Bridge station and is the primary tow vehicle for Marine 365-2 and Marine 365-3.
