Dear Neighbor,

We recently answered your call for help. Our mission is to provide the best possible service in answering emergency requests from the community. In an effort to continually improve upon our professional services, we are conducting a survey. We would appreciate a few minutes of your time to complete the enclosed survey.

Personnel

In 2020, South Branch Emergency Services was formed by a group of caring, dedicated volunteers belonging to Clinton First Aid & Rescue Squad and High Bridge Emergency Squad, and on July 15, 2021 the volunteers from Hampton Emergency Services also joined our team. Since 1953, these volunteers have provided a majority of our services.
In December of 1995, we instituted a paid day crew as a much-needed solution to a problem faced by all squads in New Jersey. That problem is the need to provide adequate coverage during the daytime hours on weekdays.
Our paid day crews are on duty whenever volunteers are not immediately available to answer your call for help. Unpaid volunteers provide the rest of our 24-hour-per-day, 7-day-per-week coverage. These dedicated men and women also provide coverage for additional services needed when the paid day crew is already caring for a patient.

Funding

The majority of funding for South Branch Emergency Services comes from the generous donations of the people and municipalities we serve. The remainder of our funding is generated through third party billing. Our billing agent is Ambulance Reimbursement Systems Inc. in Pennsylvania.

We have always been, and will always remain, a non-profit organization staffed mainly by volunteers.

If you would like more information about us or would like to volunteer, please call (908) 735-4012 or visit our website at https://www.sbes365.org

From the entire squad, thank you again for your time and comments.
