RESCUE VEHICLES


Heavy Rescue 365

2018 Pierce Velocity® tandem axle Heavy Duty Rescue delivered May 8, 2018.  The rig is built on an 8420 Velocity® Chassis with a 26-foot-long, 11 foot 1 inch high, walk-in heavy-duty rescue body, it is powered by a Cummins ISX15 600 horsepower diesel engine connected to an Allison 4000EVS automatic transmission. Some of the safety features the rig is equipped with are a TAK-4® Independent Front Suspension system, side roll protection system airbags, frontal airbags, and an electronic stability control system.

Rescue 365

1997 E-One Rescue purchased by CFARS in November 2018 from the Genoa-Kingston Fire Protection District (IL) as an additional Rescue unit for scene responses. This unit is based in our Clinton Headquarters Station 36-1 and is a second due Rescue unit.

Special Services 365 (Retired)

Retired 7/1/22 - Special Services 365 is a donated vehicle outfitted as a high-water rescue/evacuation unit.  This unit came to us at no cost thanks to the First Aid & Rescue Squad of Somerville, who operates the sister unit.  Both were previously operated by the Manasquan OEM in Monmouth County as high water vehicles.  

Water Rescue 365

Water Rescue 365 is a 2006 Ford F-450 PL Custom Medallion Series, repurposed from a BLS Ambulance to a Water Rescue unit.
